My name is Dennis Gorter and as President of Citizens State Bank in Sheldon & Boyden, Iowa, I welcome you to our website! Citizens State Bank is a locally owned and managed financial institution and prides itself on customer service. The bank is owned by the Dixon family of which 3 work here at the bank - Rob Dixon as CEO/Board Chairman, Heidi Brown as our Executive V.P./Director and Bonnie Dixon as our Citizens Plus coordinator. This local ownership is reflected in the bank’s dedication to serving its community and its customers. They have been in ownership of this bank since it was chartered back in 1961.
